Sexy Machinery - Down In Ashes 

I'm getting old and I'm definitely finding it harder and harder to relate or even keep up with new types of music coming out. Down In ashes are definitely not another screamcore, thrash metal or emo band. Don't get me wrong, they are surely hardcore but with a smooth classic mid-evil twist. All their songs are well composed with solid intros and powerful drums that don't take away from everything else. Kim and Yves vocals are prefectly syncronized and the guitars are stretegically compiled with Yves smooth bass buttering thick. 'No Alone' won me over with the Alice In Chains kinda feel but it was 'Killing Only You' that put me over the top. 'Sexy Machinery' is a very well completed album that will respectively sqeeze it's way into my collection.
